A New Year Letter to International Students

Dear students, hope you are well!

On the occasion of coming 2024, all the teachers of the International Education College extend New Year greetings and best wishes to all the international students!

2023 is the year that students returned and continued offline teaching in campus. This year, we successfully completed various teaching tasks, held various activities, and constantly shared the harvest and beauty brought by life...

In this year, some international students of have successfully completed their studies and graduated with degrees, and some students actively participated in various academic competitions and cultural activities, participated in the construction of "Healthy China", made own contributions in sharing good experience in China, promoted people-to-people exchanges, and won honors for the college. Congratulations and thank you!

This year marks the 10th anniversary of China's initiative to build the "New Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" cooperation. It is also the 10th anniversary of China's commitment to opening up education and comprehensively advancing the education initiative of the Belt and Road Initiative. On October 17-18th, 2023, the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing, China, where the Chinese President delivered a keynote speech. As he has mentioned, “mankind is an interdependent community with a shared future. When the world does well, China will do well. If China does well, the world will be better.” Dear students, I hope that during your study in China, in addition to learning professional knowledge and skills, you will also visit more places to get to know the comprehensive, objective and true China, to perceive the trustworthy, lovely and respectable China, so as to promote people-to-people exchanges.

In the New Year, I hope you will cherish the precious opportunity to study in China, work hard to learn cultural knowledge, and strive to master clinical medical skills. The teachers of the International Education College will also actively create conditions for you to integrate into the healthy and happy study  in China.
